Drive-in Movie

On Saturday, we had a drive-in movie in our own garage! This was a reward for finishing the first quarter in school. We watched Snow White on the "big screen". We ate chili dogs, popcorn, pumpkin pie, and candy. To watch the movie, we projected it on the garage door, which was white, and sat in the car while we ate.
We also watched something called Snow White Returns which was part of a movie that was never made. It is a mystery why it ended up in a box in the Disney Animation Archives. The movie showed the dwarves getting a letter from Snow White that said she was coming soon for her annual visit. So the dwarves decided to make her a bed so she wouldn't have to sleep in their beds. So they worked and worked and finally finished the bed with Grumpy standing by watching. Unfortunately, the dwarves forgot to cut down the tree that they had made into a bedpost. So they had to saw and saw with no help from Grumpy. When they came to their cottage, they found Snow White already there cooking a soup. When Snow White nodded they immediately fell to and enjoyed their dinner. Later when it was time for bed the dwarves ran out and got the bed to surprise her.  But by the time they got back, Snow White had already fallen asleep in their beds! Doc said, "Maybe we should just surprise her in the morning." With that, all the dwarves except Dopey jumped into the bed. When Dopey got there, he saw that the other dwarves were taking up the whole bed.  He squeezed himself in and they dwarf on the other end fell out, ran around the bed, squeezed back in, and another dwarf fell out. This went on for quite some time. Finally, we see all the dwarves sleeping in the bed with Dopey on top of the pillow. This is the end of the mystery pages in the box.
