Do you wanna build a snowman?

Today, while we were at Grandma's house, Ursula and I went outside to shovel the deck. When we had finished we decided to build a snowman.  Now, you must understand that the snow is very deep next to the deck, because that's where the snow was being thrown. You could not tell which was deck and which was snow. We wanted to build the snowman next to a little pine tree. I was stepping around the biggest ball to round it, and my leg vanished. Yup, I had stepped of the deck. Later, Ursula's leg vanished, followed by Pia's.

Our snowman was going very well, until we figured out it was doomed. Pia had formed a great head and we put it on the snowman. It promptly fell off.  No matter, we made another one. But while Ursula was carrying it up, she tripped and dropped it. It smashed. Okay, we can make another one. But while we were patting it onto the body, someone (who shall remain nameless) patted too hard and the head broke. Again.

That was when Grandpa told us we could use nut shells for the face and buttons. Ursula put sticks on for arms and hair.

Bottom line: We made a snowman. And here it is!
