Today, Dad brought home two ropes that were tangled together. He asked us to untangle them. First we tried to find any end of a rope. Louisa found one and Pia found another one. I pulled the end of the rope through the knots. Louisa pulled her end the other way. I realized that Louisa's strategy was better so I started doing it her way. Then we found out it was just one really long rope. Luckily, Mom helped us after a little while. Even with her help, it took about two hours. All the same it was worth it to see the rope all coiled up nicely.
That's a lot of rope! What is it for?
